Summary of the project Objectives:

General objective: facilitating the reintegration on the labor market of special categories of people from the population and the reduction of the unemployment rate in the localities involved
Special objective: the development of an innovative model of qualification and labor force placement, based on the involvement of the employees in the process and the recognition of alternative educational methods

Target group:

Young unemployed who have graduated a high school and who are not in long term unemployment
Women who after the end of their maternity leave and maternity benefit wish to return to the job market
Persons belonging to our target group has to be located in one of the following towns: Dej, Gherla (Cluj county), Beclean, Bistrita (Bistrita-Nasaud county)

Main activities:

Selection of the beneficiaries: involving the selection of the 50 persons who will benefit directly from the project, i.e. will be trained
Organizing the training sessions: The 50 persons will be trained in the following domains: Sustainable Development and Quality, Sales, Communication and Negotiation, PC Operation, English, Project Management. Each module would be composed of 24 hours of both theoretical and practical training.
Identifying the companies and SMEs we will cooperate with: meaning that we will contact different companies and SMEs that are interested in hiring people. They will be offered to select one person based on a catalogue that will contain the profile of the 40 people that had the best results at the training.
Placing the beneficiaries at the cooperating companies/SMEs: will involve the placement of the 40 persons at the companies that signed cooperation agreements with us in this sense. The 40 individuals will be placed at these companies/SMEs for a 3 months internship period. At the end of this activity we will discuss with the employers about the performances they attained. Based on these performances we hope that we will be able to negotiate full time work contracts for 10 persons at the cooperating firms (i.e. 20% of the 50 persons selected at the beginning of the project).
Evaluation of the project/monitoring.

Results of the project:

The main output of the project will be the existence of a new and efficient method connected to the active employment measures in the target localities.

Concretely the results of the project will be the following:

50 unemployed persons selected and trained
40 persons included in the 3 months internship program
Training session and training materials (60 copies)
Catalogue with the profile of those that finished the training (100 copies)
Promotional leaflets (500 copies)
Cooperation agreements with 30-40 companies/SMEs
10 persons with full time work contracts (20%)
Cooperation with 30-40 local firms
